Catch ‘King Lear’ at Trinity

Directed by Kevin Moriarty, Trinity Repertory Co.’s production of Shakespeare’s “King Lear” continues this weekend. The tale centers on the aging King Lear who decides to divide his power among his three daughters. Driven by flattery, foolishness, ambition and greed, each generation soon betrays another with results that devastate the family and its country. Trinity performers have joined forces with the Dallas Theater Center for a co-production of the Shakespearean classic, which will travel to Dallas in January.
