WASHINGTON – The U.S. Census Bureau has released the America’s Economy app, a smartphone applications that offers users access to economic data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The app, which is available for Android smartphones in the Google Play store, combines real-time access to 16 closely watch economic indicators from the BEA, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Census Bureau.
The indicators include gross domestic product, consumer spending, disposable personal income and the U.S. international trade balance.
According to a BEA release, this is the first mobile app to feature real-time statistics from America’s three primary economic statistical agencies.
“With the ability to review recent economic trends, browse upcoming data releases, and set alerts for key indicators, this app allows users to keep up with the U.S. economy anywhere they go,” said the release.
America’s Economy features three data sets from the Bureau of Economic Analysis:
Gross domestic product.
Personal income and outlays.
International trade in goods and services (joint with Census).
Estate and Corporate Income Taxes are changing next year, and business owners and executives should know the details. The PBN Summit on November 6th will provide those details and more - including how much Obamacare's Employer Mandate could cost.
PBN's annual Book of Lists has been an essential resource for the local business community for almost 30 years. The Book of Lists features a wealth of company rankings from a variety of fields and industries, including banking, health care, real estate, law, hospitality, education, not-for-profits, technology and many more.
