CHARLESTOWN – Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced the sale of 159 Surfside Ave. for $4 million. It is the highest sale in Charlestown in three years, according to data provided by the Rhode Island statewide Multiple Listing Service.
The oceanfront, shingle-style single-family house was never advertised, according to a news release provided by Mott & Chace. It closed before the listing reached the broader market.
Ray Mott, a co-owner of Mott & Chace, represented the seller and facilitated the buyer in the transaction, according to the release.
