Chelo’s raises funds for Providence Center

PROVIDENCE – Chelo’s Restaurant Group, a family-owned restaurant company in Rhode Island, has raised $12,080 to help fund child and family behavioral health services at The Provide Center at the company’s 25th annual Golf Classic held last September at the Cranston Country Club.
All proceeds from the event, which included a raffle and silent auction, were donated to the Providence Center which serves more than 12,000 people each year.
“The Chelo family has always been committed to community service and helping those in need. The mission of The Providence Center touched us all and the Chelo family wishes to extend the proceeds from our 25th annual Charity Golf Classic to them,” said Craig Chelo, in a statement.
Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grill, founded in 1955, includes nine restaurants throughout Rhode Island.
