Child & Family to host DSM-5 presentation

MIDDLETOWN – Child & Family is hosting a presentation focused on what has been changed in the new version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).

The presentation expands on an earlier session, but the changes to the manual are so extensive that two workshops are necessary.

The presentation is being led by Dennis Ghindia, an associate professor at Rhode Island College of Social Work. Ghindia has more than two decades of clinical practice experience in agencies and private practice as well as in teaching at the graduate level in the areas of clinical mental health and addiction. RSVP is required. Contact Michael Breton at mbreton@childandfamilyri.com, 401-848-4193.
