Children's Friend's 2012 Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive

Children’s Friend, a leading provider of child welfare, family support, mental health, and child development services in Rhode Island, is starting up its holiday drive.

For most of us, the holidays are filled with joy and happiness. But for many families in poverty, this time of year is very difficult due to the added expenses of heat and warm clothing, as well as the pressure to provide celebratory meals or gifts for small children. Together, we can put a smile on their faces.

Children’s Friend, a leading provider of child welfare, family support, mental health, and child development services, is holding its annual Spirit of Giving Holiday Drive and they need your help.

Last year, Children’s Friend was able to provide holiday gifts for more than 1,000 families. This year, they hope to brighten the holiday season for more than 1,100 of Rhode Island’s neediest families.
