PROVIDENCE – The Providence Children’s Museum will hold its 29th Allen H. Chatterton Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament on Aug. 6 at Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth with all proceeds benefitting the museum.

Golf packages begin at $300 for individual golfers and $1,500 for foursomes which include 18 holes of golf, green fees, cart, caddie, lunch, dinner and on-course beverages. Tennis registration is $150 and includes a round robin and dinner. Dinner-only tickets are available for $75 per person.

The museum’s annual tournament was instituted in 1983 by the late Allen Chatterton Jr., an early supporter and Board member of the Children’s Museum and is chaired by his son, Allen H. Chatterton III of Chatterton Insurance in Pawtucket.

Businesses and individuals are invited to become sponsors or donate auction items.
