PROVIDENCE – Carpionato Group LLC is proposing to develop a cleared site near Providence Place mall with two multi-story apartment structures: one seven-story building with two levels of parking and a five-story building.
Architectural renderings submitted to the city by Gate 17 Architecture, of Haddonfield, N.J., describe two buildings containing 459 apartment units. The layouts indicate a mixture of one- and two-bedroom apartments among the floors. There will be 776 parking spaces.
The 6-acre site is located at 100 Harris Ave., and would become One Hundred Harris at Providence Place, according to documents provided to the Providence Department of Planning and Development.
The site is located between the Amtrak railroad tracks and Harris Avenue, and bounded by Dean Street and the Providence Place mall.
The Providence City Plan Commission is expected to review the proposal in its meeting Tuesday afternoon.
