WEST GREENWICH – Coast to Coast Fulfillment Inc., a leading product fulfillment house in the Northeast, will double the size of its warehousing and order-processing center in West Greenwich, the company announced.
In spite of a challenging economy, Coast to Coast has seen sales jump 39 percent since 2010. In March of this year, the company purchased 14.5 undeveloped acres adjacent to its 773 Victory Highway facility, creating a total of 20-acre compound.
The company recently completed an 8,000-square-foot addition to its 45,000-square-foot facility and is planning a Phase 2 expansion of 29,000 square feet.
“We have been expanding so rapidly that we have had to rent facilities as far as 10 miles away to house our client’s inventory,” Client Services Manager Randy Lundquist said in a statement. “With the completion of Phase 2, we’ll be able to more efficiently handle all of our clients’ needs under one roof.”

The original, Phase 1 expansion will be dedicated to the daily processing of fashion jewelry orders, whereas the larger Phase 2 expansion will include a new warehouse, a central staging area for outbound freight, commercial loading docks and a new step-van entrance.

Phase 2 is already underway and other highlights include an enlarged and upgraded customer-service department, a renovated data-processing center, more office space and a new employee cafeteria, among other amenities.
There was no word on whether the 29,000-square-foot expansion would translate to increased jobs at the facility.
