VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE WORKPLACE STRATEGY AND PLANNING MANAGER – Bank of America Corp.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Network, network, network! Talk to anyone that you meet whether on a plane, grabbing coffee or even in the grocery store. Each person you meet may influence the choices you make.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Don’t be afraid to take risks and stretch yourself beyond your limits. In 15 years you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
My favorite Rhode Island escape is being on my boat on Narrow River in Narragansett. There is no better feeling than sand between your toes and salt water in your hair.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
Weekends are important for me to participate in things that I love, such as painting, arts and crafts, on my boat or at the beach. I need to unwind and enjoy the quiet before the rush of Monday mornings.
What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?
I wish I would have taken a year to live abroad and experience other cultures and countries between undergrad and graduate school.
