College Goal financial aid sessions planned

The 8th annual College Goal Rhode Island financial aid assistance sessions will be held between Jan. 14 and Feb. 12.
College Goal Rhode Island is a statewide charitable program that provides free information and assistance to families applying for college financial aid. Financial aid professionals help college-bound students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is required for students seeking federal or state grants or loans at educational institutions.
Nine different sessions, which are free, will be held at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted as follows:
• Jan. 14, West Warwick High School, West Warwick.
• Jan. 15, Westerly High School, Westerly.
• Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m., Central Falls High School, Central Falls.
• Jan. 22 at 5 p.m., Hope High School, Providence.
• Jan. 22, Juanita Sanchez Education Complex, Providence.
• Jan. 27, East Providence High School, East Providence.
• Jan. 29, Middletown High School, Middletown.
• Feb. 12, at 5 p.m., Mount Pleasant High School, Providence.
• Feb. 12, Rogers High School, Newport. •
