Collette employees donate time

PAWTUCKET – More than 160 employees from Rhode Island offices at Collette, a global travel company, are donating time throughout December to local organizations in need of volunteers and help.
“The culture of Collette employees is deeply rooted in giving back to our local communities,” said Lynne Kelly, who manages the company’s local giving program. “At the onset of the season, employees are presented with various opportunities spanning many nonprofit partners so they can choose a project that is important to them.”
All told, employees are giving 485 hours of community service this month. In the Rhode Island community, employees will help out at organizations such as the Rhode Island Food Bank, Children’s Friend, Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club and the McAuley Village Child Care Learning Center.
Collette employees also are donating toys and clothes as part of a companywide initiative to benefit families at the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, the company’s charity of the year.
