The Town of Westerly will make way for marching bands, local businesses and community organizations who will parade through the streets Sunday in celebration of Columbus Day. The 65th annual Columbus Day parade will begin at the corner of Tower and Granite streets, before winding around Wilcox Park, crossing the Pawcatuck River and wrapping up near Town Hall. Douglas and Eugenia Rayner, long-time volunteers for the Chorus of Westerly’s Summer Pops Concert, will serve as this year’s grand marshals.
