Dana Alexander Nolfe Named Director of Communications at
Cox Communications

West Warwick, RI – Cox Communications recently announced the appointment of Dana Alexander Nolfe as director of Communications at Cox Communications. In her new role, Nolfe will oversee internal and external communications including social media and media relations in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Ohio.

Nolfe joins the company from the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT), where she served as the Chief Public Affairs Officer. In that role she handled all of RIDOT’s public relations activities including special events, media relations, media campaigns, social media, and speech writing.

In making the announcement, John Wolfe, Senior Vice President and General Manager, said, “Dana’s communications background will be a strong asset as we continue to evolve in a fiercely competitive environment.” He added, “Communicating with our valued employees and customers is essential to our goal of providing exceptional customer experiences.”

Nolfe also is an adjunct professor of Communications at Bryant University in Smithfield. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College in Flushing, NY, and a Master of Arts degree from New York University in New York, NY. She resides with her husband, Michael, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
