CRANSTON – Tedco Inc. has been awarded a $150,000 Business Affected by Foreign Trade grant to increase productivity throughout its departments by the New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center in partnership with the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

“We’re pleased and honored to receive this grant from NETAAC. By providing us with this funding NETAAC has afforded Tedco the opportunity to scale our administrative and productive operations to become more efficient. We’ll be able to take an in-depth look at the current processes at work in our organization and invest in improving them long-term to contribute to continued growth,” Dona Vincent, Tedco president, said in a statement issued Wednesday.

Departments that will affected include production, sales and marketing, and administration.

Increased productivity in these areas will enable the manufacturer to compete more efficiently on a global scale while continuing its Rhode Island-based growth, according to a press release announcing the grant.
