PROVIDENCE – DESIGNxRI is calling for nominations and submissions to the Rhode Island Design Hall of Fame, which recognizes leaders in the design community and showcases the impact of Rhode Island designers on a local, national and international level.
Honorees will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a celebratory event on Sept. 24 during Design Week R.I., according to a press release.
DESIGNxRI will recognize up to five inductees in two categories: Lifetime achievement and emerging designers.
Applicants must be individual design professionals who live and work primarily in Rhode Island, and who have made significant and noteworthy contributions through their design practice and are able to demonstrate the impact of their design. Nominations are due by Aug. 7 at 5 p.m., and full submission applications are due Aug. 14 at 5 p.m.
