Dan Cooney has been named to the commercial-insurance division at Cowrie Group where he will assist marine businesses, commercial entities and yacht clubs with comprehensive business-insurance solutions and risk-management plans. Cooney previously served as associate executive director of US Sailing. He holds an MBA from the Kenan Flagler School of Business at University of North Carolina. •
