One day, I was working on my Ph.D. in anthropology, and the next, I was running for the hills, landing on urban education policy as a logical fit for my love of systems, social justice and creative change-making.

How do you keep a work-life
I spend a lot of my free time practicing and playing with my band. The Extraordinary Rendition Band is a Providence street band that supports local causes, community and activist events. •
