Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?

I anticipate continuing to push the envelope and being a leader in sustainable construction practices.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever been given?

Find a job that you love, and you will never work another day in your life.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Don’t settle down and pick a career until you are at least 30. Get out of Rhode Island for awhile, it’s only after you are gone … that you can appreciate the excellent qualities of life in this state.

What is your favorite escape or hobby?

Spending time with my wife and two daughters. If not that, I play rugby, which used to be my favorite escape.

How do you keep a work-life balance?

That can be tricky in a family business.

What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?

I would have gone to law school instead of graduate school or business school. •
