WARWICK – Small businesses that suffered an economic loss in the March 11 fire at Westgate Condominiums are reminded that the deadline for submitting a disaster loan application is Jan. 6, 2016.
Businesses that suffered economic losses as a result of the fire may apply for low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration, according to a news release.
The Westgate Condominium fire destroyed 38 apartments and displaced 56 people, according to a news release by the state of Rhode Island. The state was notified in April that the fire qualified as a disaster, and that residents and small businesses could apply for relief.
