SalesBrief is changing the way people think about sales and already making a splash in Rhode Island.

SalesBrief grew in fall 2015 out of the incubation-like services offered through Figmints LLC, a Rhode Island-based marketing company.

“If you think about it, there’s no real equivalent to SalesBrief,” said James Kwon, chief market ing officer of SalesBrief and CEO of Figmints. “This is also proving the culture of innovation in the tech scene here in [Rhode Island], and that’s important.”

SalesBrief, a Pawtucket-based tech company, offers business-to-business services in the form of a digital sales room where prospects can go for all the information needed to make a purchase. Each deal can be curated specifically to the prospects’ needs and the company uses real-time data and analytics to tell which deals are likely to close, taking much of the guessing game out of it for clients.

The company has gained traction in the financial-service and fin-tech industries, but Kwon says the team – led by co-founder and CEO Ted Brown – expects it to catch on in several others as well. •
