Doing their part to feed hungry

For the seventh-consecutive year Seven Stars Bakeries donated all proceeds from sales on Jan. 2 to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.This year the take from the bakery’s three locations in Providence and East Providence was $14,500, bringing the total raised for the food bank to more than $61,000. “We’re especially grateful to businesses like Seven Stars who recognize the need to do something tangible and meaningful to help feed hungry Rhode Islanders,” said Andrew Schiff, food bank CEO.
