Douglas Kallfelz has been elected 2013 president of the Rhode Island chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Kallfelz has been a principal at Union Studio since 2008 and is a member of the Leadership Rhode Island ETA II class. He holds a master of design studies degree from Harvard University and a bachelor of architecture degree from Syracuse University. •
