Downtown living space tour set for Oct. 17

PROVIDENCE – Interested in seeing firsthand how industrial and office buildings have been transformed into unique and quirky apartments? The Downtown Providence Living Tour, arranged by the Downtown Improvement District, is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 17.
Ticket-holders can tour living spaces at their own pace.
The residential properties available for viewing include the George C. Arnold Building, Arcade Providence and the Conrad Building. The Arnold Building, newly renovated, is a 12.5-foot wide sliver of a building that features linear apartments on the second and third floors.
