Dr. Bharat Ramratnam has been named medical director of the Clinical Research Center at Lifespan. He will continue to lead the Laboratory of Retrovirology for the Lifespan/Tufts/Brown Center for AIDS Research and Rhode Island Hospital’s COBRE Center for Cancer Research Development. Ramratnam holds a bachelor’s degree and an M.D. from Brown University and he completed his internal medicine and chief residency at The Miriam Hospital. •
