Dr. Douglas C. Anthony has been appointed chief of pathology at Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Washington University as well as a doctorate in experimental pathology and an M.D., both from Duke University. In his new role, Dr. Anthony will now lead the clinical, educational and research-pathology programs for Lifespan. •
