Drug take-back day scheduled for April 28

PROVIDENCE – Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island is supporting an effort to help clear homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. A statewide drug take-back day will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The following cities and towns will be participating:

  • Charlestown, Narragansett Tribal Police Department, 4375B South County Trail; and Charlestown Police Department, 4901 Old Post Rd.
  • Chepachet Glocester Police Department, 162 Chopmist Rd.
