E.A. Dion participates in heart walk

Posted 5/31/13

Employees of E.A. Dion Inc., an Attleboro-based jewelry designer and manufacturer, recently turned out to show their support the 2013 American Heart Association’s Southern New England Heart Walk.

This was the second year that members of Team Dion participated by walking a 2-mile or 3.5 mile course at Colt State Park in Bristol. More than 60 employees, friends and family members pitched in, raising almost $7,000 for the cause.

The funds raised went directly to the American Heart Association to be used for the prevention and treatment of heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.

Prior to the walk, the company also raised funds through company-wide events, including a yard sale and themed meal events during company lunch hours.
