PROVIDENCE – The R.I. Economic Development Corporation and Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis’ office will host a joint We Mean Business Expo on Sept. 8.
The expo – which looks to assist business with development, growth and expansion – will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Providence-Warwick from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Businesses will have the opportunity to meet with government officials to discuss registering a business, financing, taxes, licensing and permitting. The expo also offers free workshops on marketing with social media, managing retirement funds, customer-service skills and creating capabilities statements.
Among the more than 150 organizations that have been invited to exhibit are the Providence Economic Development Partnership, the R.I. Department of Taxation and the U.S. Small Business Administration. •
