Edible Arrangements Rhode Island Co-ops recently presented the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Rhode Island chapter with a $1,935 check from a joint fundraiser by all 63 Edible Arrangements stores in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In total, the stores raised $17,735 for local multiple sclerosis chapters.

The funds were earned through a special promotion where Edible Arrangements donated five dollars for every orange blossom arrangement purchased at participating stores throughout the month of March, which is MS awareness month. Orange is the official color of the National MS Society.

“Not only did this very creative company donate much-needed funds to our organization, they helped us raise awareness about MS,” said Kathy Mechnig, president of the National MS Society’s Rhode Island chapter

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society Rhode Island Chapter provides programs and services to approximately 2,000 Rhode Islanders and their families living with MS.
