Saturday, the Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Association and the R.I. Dept. of Environmental Management will set up shop at Exeter’s Frosty Hollow Pond for a morning of fishing instruction for those 15 and younger. Youth anglers will learn the basics, including how to bait a hook, cast a line and remove a catch, while parents observe. Participants may bring their own rods and tackle, or borrow from the DEM. Those attending are advised to dress for the weather and bring sun protection, water, snacks and chairs.
