Head to Federal Hill’s DePasquale Square for a weekend-long Columbus Day celebration. Atwells Avenue will be closed to traffic from the intersections of Dean Street to Sutton Street to make way for participating vendors and pedestrians. There will be live entertainment on three stages in addition to a variety of food vendors and a parade on Sunday. The Italian festival, which drew nearly 100,000 visitors last year, kicks off with grand opening ceremonies at noon on Saturday.
