Foxboro casino war heats up

FOXBORO – The citizens of Foxboro are being barraged with data related to the proposed casino development being backed by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Las Vegas developer Steve Wynn, according to the Attleboro Sun-Chronicle.
Earlier this month, the pro-casino group Jobs for Foxboro mailed DVDs to 7,000 households in the town, which included claims about economic development.
An opposition group, NoFoxboroCasino.com, in turn posted a rebuttal, challenging a number of claims made by the pro-casino group.
Over the weekend, the pro-casino group issued its own rebuttal to the rebuttal, said the Sun-Chronicle, which is available through Facebook and Twitter, and will be posted as soon the group sets up its own website.
