WARREN – Full Channel, cable, Internet and phone provider, announced the launch of its digital telephone network on Monday.

According to its website, Full Channel offers two monthly plans: $25.99 for 60 minutes of calling and an unlimited package for $34.99.

“While many customers today have cell phones, it is important to remember that the most reliable method of communication in an emergency is a landline phone,” said President and CEO Linda Jane Maaia in a news release.

“Unlike cell phones, the Full Channel Digital Phone network is linked to the 911 address database and is designed to instantly provide the customer’s address to the dispatcher.”

Full Channel services Barrington, Bristol and Warren; customers who switch to their digital phone service can keep their phone numbers and use the existing phone and cable wiring.

Previously, Full Channel was reselling its local service from Verizon, which didn't include a long-distance package.
