This weekend, learn about origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, at the Providence Children’s Museum. Origami is a combination of art, mathematics and engineering. Participants can experience the craft by creating their own pieces, or by watching a demonstration by origami artist Andrew Anselmo Saturday. Anselmo will offer paper-folding tips that audience members can later try on their own. This event is part of ThinkSpace, a new exhibit and series of programs at the Providence Children’s Museum that encourage spatial thinking.
