Watch as locally grown, giant pumpkins are unloaded and weighed Saturday afternoon during the annual giant pumpkin weigh-off held at Frerichs Farm in Warren. Last year’s champion pumpkin, grown in North Scituate, weighed in at 1,661 pounds. While waiting for this year’s results, visitors can enjoy refreshments and pumpkin painting or try their luck at a corn or hay bale maze. Vendors will also set up tents featuring seasonal arts and crafts, gifts and other products. The winning pumpkin will be announced around 3 p.m.
