EAST PROVIDENCE – The International Council of Shopping Centers, or ICSC, is accepting registrations for an April 3 informal public-private sector networking event designed to foster economic regeneration.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, from 7:30 a.m. to noon at the Agawam Hunt Club in Rumford.
Focused on bolstering partnerships between private business and public representatives, the program will allow face-to-face interaction and include a panel discussion with experts from Gilbane Development Co., Granoff Associates LLC and Peregrine Group LLC.
“This is an exciting opportunity to share with colleagues from both sides of the table and hear about lessons learned about some of Rhode Island’s recent public-private development successes,” Lawrence Platt, private sector co-chair of ICSC and owner of Platt Realty LLC, said in a release.
The program’s agenda reads that information will “meet the needs” of developers, property owners, state and municipal officials, bankers, engineers, real estate brokers and agents.
Registration fees for ICSC members are $35 in advance or $45 on-site; non-members fees are $45 and $55. Public officials receive a discounted rate of $25 flat. Interested parties should visit www.icsc.org for more information.
