Special Olympics athletes from Florida were able to experience a day in the life of a professional baseball player on Feb. 16, at a CVS Caremark All Kids Can Baseball Camp held during Boston Red Sox spring training in Fort Myers, Fla. The athletes, ranging in age from 6 to 37, worked with hitting coaches, had lunch and received a backpack with “game-day essentials.” The camp is part of CVS’ All Kids Can program, which focuses on helping children with disabilities learn, play and succeed in life.
