Golfers raise money for Easter Seals

Nearly 100 golfers raised $25,000 Sept. 21 in the third annual golf tournament presented by the Golden Goalies and RISD Inno Vaders to benefit Easter Seals Rhode Island.
Held at Crystal Lake Golf Club in Mapleville, the funds will help children and young adults with disabilities and special needs.
In addition to the Golden Goalies and RISD Inno Vaders, other major sponsors were AFA, D.F. Pray General Contractors, NORR Architects, Engineers and Planners, Vector Security, William Stark Architects, Inc., Coast Sign Inc., Dryvit, Homestar Mortgage, Lawrence and Associates, Project Builders, and the Rhode Island Blood Center.
Golfers enjoyed a dry day on the links, a breakfast and lunch buffet provided by Wright’s Dairy Farm and Crystal Lake Golf Club, time with Easter Seals Rhode Island Early Intervention client Mason King and his family, a raffle, and a silent auction that raised more than $1,300.
Phil Yang, Jeff Kern, Brad McCaffrey, and George Poyton won the tournament.
