HHCRI receives industry honor

PROVIDENCE – Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island has been named a 2014 Hospice Honors recipient, based on the quality of its patient care as rated by the patient’s caregiver.

Established by Deyta, the honor recognizes hospices that continuously provide the highest level of satisfaction through their care as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.

Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island President and CEO Diana Franchitto credited the ongoing, coordinated efforts of the agency’s multidisciplinary care teams for the achievement.

“We are proud and honored to receive the Hospice Honors distinction again this year,” said Franchitto. “As an organization focused on continual improvement, this award reflects our ongoing, coordinated efforts and shows that we continue to provide the best possible patient and caregiver experience. We are delighted!”
