New England’s foremost authority on hair restoration to address transgender community at Boston Marriott Peabody January 19-23
CRANSTON, Rhode Island (January 13, 2010) – Dr. Robert Leonard, chief surgeon and founder of Leonard Hair Transplant Associates, will discuss “The Latest Medical and Surgical Hair Restoration Options for the Transgender Patient,” at the First Event 2011 Transgender Conference at the Boston Marriott Peabody, Friday-Sunday, January 19-23.
Among his remarks, Dr. Leonard will talk about creating a feminine hairline; modern hair transplantation techniques to re-grow thicker hair; transplantation into surgical scars; facial and pubic transplantation; and other topics of importance to the transgender patient. In addition, Dr. Leonard will review the causes of hair loss and discuss the current therapies to treat it including medical options, laser therapy and permanent hair transplantation.
