Hallworth House joins CareLink network of providers

PROVIDENCE – Hallworth House of Providence’s board of directors recently voted to join the CareLink network of providers, who represent a broad spectrum of post-acute and community-based care providers. With the addition of Hallworth House, a skilled nursing home in Providence that has a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare, CareLink’s nonprofit network includes 31 health care providers with 3,000 employees who serve 5,000 clients in Rhode Island.

“Hallworth House has 50 years of experience providing quality, individualized care in a nonprofit setting,” Julie Richard, CareLink’s board chair, said in a statement. “Their reputation for innovation and excellence is an outstanding complement to the wide array of nonprofit organizations that already exist in our network … Individually, we’re doing great things in our community, but by working together, we’re making huge strides in shaping policy and practices that have made significant positive impacts on the collective quality of life for seniors throughout Rhode Island.”

“[Since] our doors opened, Hallworth House has provided individualized services and consistent care to provide optimal patient outcomes,” Stephanie Igoe, administrator, said. “Aligning ourselves with like-minded organizations increases our power to effect positive change that benefits the people in our care. We can keep our care environment intimate while benefiting through efficiencies of scale in research, innovations, collaborations and by sharing best practices.”
