Harris Tool building to be razed for condos

EAST GREENWICH – A former manufacturing building on Main Street will be razed and replaced with a 21-unit, residential condominium building, marketed to professionals who want to live near the town center.

The $4.5 million development at 1001 Main St., called The Terrace on Main, is expected to have units with list prices ranging from $225,000 to $295,000, according to Lenny Iannuccilli, a Realtor who is a principal with development team, 620 Main Street Associates LLC.

The architect is Ed Wojcik Architect Ltd. of Providence, while the landscape architect is Birchwood Design Group.

The Harris Tool building, which dates to the mid-1940s, will be removed this month, Iannuccilli said.
