Harvard Business School is no longer the world’s best, according to a new ranking. INSEAD, a university with campuses in France and Singapore, ranked first in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking released last week, according to a report from the Boston Business Journal.
Ranked 12th is the IE Business School in Spain, which shares programming with Brown University for a joint executive MBA degree, the ranking shows.
Harvard Business School, long ranked first, is now ranked second, followed by London Business School, University of Pennsylvania: Wharton and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. No Rhode Island or southeastern Massachusetts schools made the rankings.
This is the first time a school with a one-year MBA program ranked first in these rankings, the BBJ reported. •
