Hasbro’s Hub Network wins at Daytime Emmy Awards

HASBRO INC. and Discovery Communications' Hub Network earned recognition at the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards, held this past weekend in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES – The Hub Network, a multi-platform joint venture between Hasbro Inc. and Discovery Communications, earned recognition at the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards, Hasbro announced Sunday.

The network, which has been on air for only two and a half year, tied Nickelodeon as the most recognized kids network. This most recent bout of recognition brings the Hub Network’s total Daytime Emmy Award winds to 12, according to Hasbro.

“We are excited to have received … Daytime Emmy Awards and we are proud of our shows and the creative teams producing them,” Margaret Loesch, president and CEO of the Hub Network, said in prepared remarks. “At the Hub Network, we strive to create quality programming that is entertaining and we are elated that the Academy has recognized our efforts.”

The Hub Network team earned Daytime Emmy Awards for:

  • Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program – “Dan Vs.”
  • Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling – “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series.”
  • Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design/Styling – “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series.”
  • Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation – “Transformers Price.”
