Cash incentives for getting healthy and free massages are just two examples of why AIPSO is a fine place to work.

AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for insurance-industry groups responsible for administering the residual market.

But the old chestnut about insurance being a boring industry doesn’t apply here.

“AIPSO is a wonderful organization to work for, and my feelings have never changed over the course of my employment,” said Linda Votta, assistant team leader.

The company’s on-site Weight Watchers at Work program offers weekly meetings and incentives, such as a $50 reimbursement for attending all meetings and a $25 reimbursement for losing at least 5 pounds.

At the annual health fair, employees can get blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol screenings. Information on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, free massages and healthy snacks are also available.

With an eye toward fitness and convenience, AIPSO offers locker rooms for employees to shower if they exercise before work or during lunch.

AIPSO launched IDEAL, a women’s leadership network to support the goals of female employees. The program provides development opportunities geared specifically toward women looking to advance. The popular program enters its second year this August.

“The values of AIPSO’s senior management team are of the highest standards, and they foster both a pleasant work environment and a sense of belonging to a family that truly cares about its members,” Votta said. •
