WARREN – Hope & Main and the Rhode Island chapter of the American Culinary Federation will host a three-course lobster boil fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 25, with proceeds going to scholarships for high schoolers looking to enter the culinary industry and business and technical assistance for Hope & Main members.

Lisa Raiola, Hope & Main’s founder and president, called the event a “Rhode Island food-a-palooza” with locally sourced lobsters and various offerings from multiple Hope & Main members.

“Thanks to our wonderful ACF chef partners, almost everything has been donated, so the vast majority of event proceeds will directly benefit programs,” she said.

The meals are prepared by ACF chefs. Each guest will receive a lobster dinner served family-style. Cocktail hour will feature a chowder station, as well as the breads, jams, cheeses, fermented foods, sauces and salsas of many member companies.

During the silent auction, guests can bid on New England-themed picnic baskets filled with Hope & Main products and gift certificates from local restaurants. There will also be live music performed by Marmalade Skies, a Beatles tribute band out of Warren.

Tickets for the lobster boil are $100 and can be purchased online. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and take place in the schoolyard of Hope & Main at 692 Main St. in Warren.
