Hugh T. Clements Jr.

Hugh T. Clements Jr., chief of police in Providence, has been appointed president of the Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association. He is the first Providence police chief to serve as president of the association since 1960. He holds a B.A. in sociology from the University of Rhode Island, a B.S. in the administration of justice from Roger Williams University and an M.S. in criminal justice from Boston University.
