IGT signs new agreement with North Carolina Education Lottery

PROVIDENCE – International Game Technology PLC’s subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corp., has signed a 10-year agreement with the North Carolina Education Lottery.

Through the agreement, IGT will provide a new draw-based central system and lottery terminals, as well as player self-service vending machines, a communications network and ongoing services.

The agreement, the result of competitive procurement, takes effect April 1, 2017, and lasts through June 30, 2027; it also allows for a five-year extension option until June 30, 2032.

IGT said the NCEL has been a valued customer since it launched its lottery in 2006.
“We are grateful to be aligned with the NCEL in innovating its business and achieving consecutive years of record success, and we welcome the opportunity to support the NCEL in ushering in its next exciting chapter,” Michael Chambrello, IGT CEO, North America Lottery, said in a statement. “We look forward to furthering our partnership, helping to increase contributions to education, and bringing the greatest value to North Carolinians as we help the NCEL reach and exceed its next set of strategic goals.”
