IGT to provide slot machines, systems to LUDI in France

PROVIDENCE – International Game Technology PLC has signed an agreement with LUDI S.F.M. in France, providing IGT’s full suite of slot machines and systems.

“Legacy” GTECH machines offered by GTECH France S.F.M. also will be included, as well as systems that the GTECH Austria legacy organization has sold in France for more than two decades.

“This agreement is an exciting evolution in the close relationship between LUDI and the new IGT,” LUDI CEO Willy de Bruyn said in a statement. “By offering our customers a larger selection of high-performing cabinets, games and systems, as well as supporting those products, they can reap the benefits of tailoring their gaming floor and operations more precisely to their needs and their players’ preferences.”

Walter Bugno, IGT CEO International, said the agreement demonstrates his company’s “continued commitment” to the French gaming market, which he called an “important region for the company.”

LUDI is licensed by the French government for the importation, distribution, maintenance and control of slot machines and associated equipment and products. IMagine S.A.M, a LUDI-associated company, will provide French customers with support and service.

Due to a merger in April, IGT and GTECH are now known as IGT.
